Foster Gas Services is owned by Simon Foster who is one of the most qualified Corgi registered gas installers in N.Ireland. Simons works for himself and works in all areas of gas Installation throughout N.Ireland. He maintains an excellent reputation among his clients and his business is steadily growing.

MCC met Simon Foster in 2004 when he asked if we would "help him out" with a computer and broadband. Since then we have supported Simon at each stage and have always been considerate of his business and his objectives. MCC have become responsible for:

Hardware

The problem – In 2004 Foster Gas Services set up an office at the ballymena Business Centre. Mcc were asked to build and install a computer with internet access and email.

The solution – Working with Simon's budget we built and installed a computer for his office which suited his requirements. Later we provided Simon with a Laptop, printer and UPS.

The results – Simon has hardware that is looked after by ourselves so he never has to worry about the maintenance and care of his kit.

Software

– Website

The problem – Foster Gas Services needed a web presence which represented his professionalism but as he was starting up he had to be careful with his budget.

The solution – Foster Gas Services were advised to take advantage of our FREE template website design and creation. Within one week he had www.fostergas.com online with little or no interruption to his schedule.

The results – Foster Gas Services now have a website which fits with his professionalism and fits with his quality of work.

Communications

The problem – Later in 2005 as Foster Gas Services had grown in reputation Simon presented us with the exciting challenge of a complete mobile office that would best suit his work demands.

The solution – We set his laptop up with a high speed data connection to a mobile provider enabling connections at up to ISDN equivalent. The laptop and printer were run off a power converter coupled with a UPS. This provided a remote office which also had 24hr internet and email hookup.

The results – Return visits to the fixed office were completely eliminated saving money and as Foster Gas Services reputation covers the breadth of Northern Ireland this solution has allowed him to carry on with much more work.
