Summary:

The Tardree Turf Machinery is responsible for the supply, repair and maintenance of high quality farming and grounds equipment. Darren Nesbitt, the owner of Tardree, employs a team which help him look after the individual and contract work for larger clients.

MCC initially supplied Tardree Turf Machinery with a computer and printer/scanner. Over the years Tardree has grown considerably and MCC were able to support them as they expanded. MCC installed a network and developed them a Data Management System using barcode scanner technology. MCC have also created them an online presence. MCC have become responsible for:

Hardware

The problem – In 1996 Tardree simply needed a computer and printer/scanner. However when they expanded in 2004 MCC were asked to supply a network and computers to facilitate a workshop, parts counter, point of sale and an office.

The solution – Initially in 1996 MCC built a strong reliable computer to help Tardree handle their workload. Eight years later MCC designed and built the necessary network. Not all computers needed to be of the same specification as they were all performing different tasks. We also made use of the computer built back in 1996.

The results – Tardree have a network that performs tasks in the workshop, at the counters and in the office.

Software

– Database

The problem – Tardree Turf Machinery asked MCC to develop a software solution that would record stock, manage work and maintenance processes and include invoicing and point of sales.

The solution – MCC built the software solution which met all the objectives and incorporated reporting systems.

The results – The Data Management System allows for monitoring of finance and a reporting system which at the click of a button can provide information such as tracability and a full job history. Clients can now be confident in Tardree Turf Machinery managing full service historys.

The problem – Tardree Turf Machinery simply needed a web presence which would indicate to clients what they did.

The solution – MCC made use of its free website program and created their website www.tardree.co.uk

The results – Tardree now look professional online and prospective clients can find out more about what they do.
